Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
Thursday’s Conference League qualifier at Skonto stadions pits together Auda and Trnava, who meet for the first time in European competitions. Auda head into the match following a heavy 5-2 loss to RFS and given their shaky defence, home win should not be considered. Both Abiodun Ogunniyi and Elhadj Mane should be recalled to the starting XI after the duo came off the bench in the last league match.
The Slovaks, on the other hand, have yet to kick off the new domestic campaign. Trnava suffered a loss in each of their last three warm-up games, but we predict that they will take advantage of Auda’s weak defence. A man to watch in the away team will be North Macedonia centre-forward Milan Ristoski. In their last Conference League qualifier Michal Gasparik’s men were beaten by Rakow, but they are surely capable of defeating the Latvians this time out.
