HB Torshavn will try to claim a major scalp in the tie with Hajduk Split when the two sides meet in the second leg of the Conference League second qualifying round. HB Torshavn are on a three-game losing run in all competitions and given their difficulties in front of goal, home win should not be considered. Danish midfielder Sammy Skytte is pushing for a start, with Noah Mneney likely to drop to the bench.
The Croats, on the other hand, recorded a routine 2-0 win over HB Toshavn in the first leg and, as a result, they are with one foot in round 3. Given the number of high-profile players in Gennaro Gattuso’s team, including Marko Livaja and Ivan Perisic, anything but an easy away win would be a big surprise.
