Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
After surviving Vllaznia in the first qualifying round, Linfield will look to shock Pogon Szczecin when the two teams face each other at Windsor Park in the first leg. The Blues, though, are likely to adopt a cautious approach in the first leg as they should be happy with the share of spoils as well. Matthew Fitzpatrick serves a one-game ban, while defender Daniel Finlayson misses out through suspension for the hosts.
The Poles, meanwhile, kicked off the new Ekstraklasa campaign with a 1-0 win over Warta Poznan, but beating Linfield in Northern Ireland is easier said than done. A close encounter is on the cards at Windsor Park and we are tempted to put our money on draw. Barring any fresh injury worries, Jens Gustafsson is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated Warta Poznan at the weekend. A man to watch in the away team will be new signing Efthymios Koulouris, who scored the winner on his Pogon debut.
