The Czechs did well to beat Sheriff Tiraspol 3-2 two weeks ago and they are seen as hot favourites to pick up all three points from Thursday’s encounter as well. All Pech, Jurasek, and Masopust are sidelined with injuries, while Nigeria international Ogungbayi misses out with heart problems. Both Boril and Provod have been struggling with illness of late.
Servette, on the other hand, missed out on a spot in the Europa League knockout stages, but thanks to a 1-1 draw with AS Roma they secured a place in the Conference League last 32. The visitors, though, have nothing to play for in Thursday’s clash, which is probably the main reason why home win should be considered.
