Our prediction for this Europa League match:
All eyes will be on Generali Ceska pojistovna Arena when Sparta Prague and Olympique Lyon face each other in the Group A derby. Following a goalless draw with Brondby, Sparta did well to beat Rangers in their second group game, with the team climbing to second place in the standings. The Czechs are eyeing their sixth consecutive win in all competitions, and they are likely to grab something from the match.
Les Gones, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-0 win over Monaco. Olympique Lyon have been impressive in the Europa League group stages, and given their attacking potential, we predict that both sides will find the net in Thursday’s clash. In their last meeting in a competitive match the two teams played out a 1-1 draw. Sparta midfielder David Pavelka returns from a domestic ban, while Soucek, Hojer, and Julis are sidelined with injuries. As for the visitors, Lopes is back from a domestic suspension, while Dembele and Slimani miss out with injuries.
