Crvena Zvezda
Following an unlucky loss to Monaco in their opener, Crvena zvezda will look to give fans some cheer when they face Trabzonspor at Medical Park Stadium. The Serbian champions head into the match following a 2-1 win over Superliga leaders Novi Pazar, and, no doubt, the triumph helped them regain a much-needed confidence. Aleksandar Pesic, who played in Turkish Super Lig last season, is pushing for a start after scoring the winner at the weekend, with Aleksandar Dragovic eyeing a spot in the starting XI as well.
Mirko Ivanic should recover in time to face Trabzon. The Turks, on the other hand, head into the match with a severely-weakened squad, with all Asan, Peres, Tokoz, Trondsen, Turkmen, Visca, and Yazici missing out with injuries. Since Abdullah Avci’s men failed to impress in a 2-1 loss to Adana on Monday, away win should definitely be considered.

Stefano Denswil is a product of Ajax football academy. The Dutch centre-back, who was born in Zaandam on May 7, 1993, scored one goal in 22 appearances in the Eredivisie for Ajax before joining Club Brugge in 2015. Denswil quickly established himself as a first-team regular at Club Brugge and it has to be noted that he scored his first goal for the Blauw-Zwart in December 2015 in a 4-1 loss to Anderlecht.
Speaking of his international career, Stefano Denswil has seven caps with Netherlands U21 team, but, outside of football, the Club Brugge practices kickboxing. Stefano Denswil’s preferred foot is left, but he is not used as a left-back. His main position is centre-back and his contract with Club Brugge should expire in June, 2020.
Denswil has three Eredivisie titles with Ajax and he won his second Belgian Pro League trophy with Club Brugge in the 2017/2018 season. Denswil wears No. 24 jersey at the Jan Breydel Stadium outfit.

Crvena Zvezda are the most famous club in Balkans. The Crveno-beli have 19 Yugoslav First League titles and have won eight domestic trophies since the breakup of Yugoslavia. Crvena Zvezda won their last league title in the 2015/2016 season, with the team finishing the campaign no less than 28 points clear of Partizan.
Speaking of Partizan, the Crno-beli are considered Crvena Zvezda’s bitterest rivals and the two teams meet in the “Eternal derby” (Veciti derbi). The capital club did well to win the European Cup title in 1991, with the team beating Olympique Marseile on penalties in the title game. That is considered the club’s biggest success, but it has to be noted that the Serbian club won the International Cup later in 1991.
