Our prediction for this Europa League match:
There will be fireworks when Vojvodina and Ajax go head to head at TSC Arena in the Europa League second qualifying round, return leg. Vojvodina suffered a 1-0 loss to Ajax in Amsterdam, but it has to be noted that former Crvena Zvezda forward Aleksa Vukanovic missed a clear-cut opportunity to break the deadlock. Midfielder Vukan Savicevic should be fit for Thursday’s showdown despite limping off with injury in the first leg.
The Amsterdammers, on the other hand, won the first leg thanks to Branco van den Boomen’s late header. The Eredivisie outfit are determined to defend their slim lead in Novi Sad and seeing that several first-team regulars should be recalled to the starting XI, there is a big value in betting on the away side. Steven Berghuis is pushing for a start as well as Brian Brobbey, who represented Netherlands at the 2024 European Championship finals.
