Our prediction for this FA Cup match:
Fulham will look to advance to the FA Cup last 16 when they take on Wigan Athletic on Saturday afternoon. The Cottagers aim to build on a 2-1 win over Newcastle United and they are seen as hot favourites to win the FA Cup game as well. Rodrigo Muniz is pushing for a start after scoring the winner as a substitute at the weekend, while both Harry Wilson and Kenny Tete remain in the recovery room.
The Latics, on the other hand, head into the match following a 1-1 draw with Lincoln. In their last meeting in a competitive match, Wigan and Fulham played out a 1-1 draw, but we are tempted to place our bets on Marco Silva’s men as they are enjoying yet another successful Premier League campaign. The Portuguese tactician is likely to stick to the 4-2-3-1 formation, with aforementioned striker Muniz up front as a lone centre-forward.
Highlighted Player (Alex Iwobi):

Alex Iwobi is one of the most talented African footballers. The Nigerian football player was born in Lagos on May 3, 1996, but he moved to Arsenal at the age of 8. In 2015 he made his first-team debut for the Gunners, starting in a 3-0 loss to Sheffield Wednesday in the League Cup.
Speaking of his Premier League debut, Alex Iwobi played his first game for Arsenal in a 3-0 victory over Swansea City in October, 2015. The pacey winger played for England at youth level, but he eventually went on to play for Nigeria. Iwobi made his senior debut with the Super Eagles on October 8, 2015, coming as a substitute for Ahmed Musa in a 2-0 loss to DR Congo.
On October 7, 2017 the Arsenal footballer scored the winner for Nigeria against Zambia (1-0) which helped the Super Eagles book their place at the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals. Speaking of his individual trophies, Alex Iwobi was named CAF Young Player of the Year 2016.
Highlighted Team (Wigan):

Wigan Athletic are one of the winners of the English FA Cup. The Latics won the prestigious trophy in 2013, with the team upsetting Manchester City in the title game. This is considered the club’s biggest success, but it has to be noted that Wigan played in the UEFA Europa League in the 2013/2014 season.
Wigan have been playing their home games at the DW Stadium since 1999 and they had played at Springfield Park in the past. Chorley are considered Wigan’s fierce rivals, but the two teams last met in 1971, when they competed in the Northern Premier League. The likes of Preston North End, Bury, Oldham Athletic, Burnley and Blackburn Rovers are regarded as Wigan Athletic’s rivals as well.
The club was founded in 1932 and they competed in the English Premier League from 2005 to 2013. The colour of Wigan’s home kit is blue and white (stripes).
