A spot in the FIFA Club World Cup quarter-finals will be at stake when Palmeiras and Botafogo RJ go head to head in an all-Brazilian clash at Lincoln Financial Field. Abel Ferreira’s troops booked their place in the knockout stages thanks to a 2-2 draw with Inter Miami, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry against Estevao and Co. Defender Murillo limped off with injury in the last group game, with Bruno Fuchs likely to step up.
O Glorioso, on the other hand, aim to recover from a 1-0 loss to Atletico Madrid. As both Botafogo and Palmeiras are expected to adopt a cautious approach in Saturday’s clash, we believe that there is a big value in betting on under 2.5 goals.
