Our prediction for this FIFA Club World Cup match:
Following a slim 1-1 draw with Al Hilal, Real Madrid will look to record their first win at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup finals when they take on Pachuca on Sunday evening. Fede Valverde had a penalty save in the dying minutes of the match, but Xabi Alonso’s men need to improve their game if they are to advance to the knockout stages. Key attacker Kylian Mbappe remains doubtful, while this game comes too early for experienced right-back Dani Carvajal, who is closing in on a return.
Los Tuzos, on the other hand, failed to impress in a 2-1 loss to Salzburg and given Real Madrid’s need for points, we are tempted to place our bets on Vinicius Junior and Co. When the two teams met at the FIFA International Cup last year, Real Madrid recorded a routine 3-0 win over Pachuca. Defender Andres Micolta remains on the sidelines with injury for the nominal visitors.
Highlighted Player (Thibaut Courtois):

Born on 11 May 1992, Thibaut Courtois is a very talented Belgian goalkeeper who plays for Chelsea. Courtois began his senior football career at Genk, but after spending two seasons at Cristal Arena, he joined Chelsea in 2011.
The club chiefs decided to send him on loan to Atletico Madrid, but seeing that Courtois impressed during his spell with the La Liga team, Jose Mourinho confirmed in June, 2014 that the Belgian goalkeeper would return to Chelsea for the 2014/2015 campaign. Thibaut Courtois helped Chelsea win the Premier League trophy in 2015, but the general impression is that he had performed much better while at Atletico Madrid. He won the La Liga title in the 2013/2014 season, while lifting the UEFA Europa League trophy in 2012.
Two years later Courtois participated in the Champions League final, but Real Madrid proved to be a big catch for Atletico Madrid. Speaking of his individual awards, Thibaut Courtois was named the La Liga Goalkeeper of the Year (2013).
Highlighted Team (Pachuca):

115 years ago Compania Real del Monte y Pachuca workers founded the Pachuca Athletic Club and back then they were an amateur club. Nowadays los Tuzos compete in Liga MX and they won their first Invierno (Winter) tournament in 1999. Pachuca repeated the success and it has to be noted they have the Apertura and Clausura (3) trophies in their collection as well.
Speaking of the CONCACAF Champions Cup, the Mexican club won their fifth trophy in the prestigious competition in 2017, with the team beating fellow Liga MX team in the title game. Pachuca play their home matches at Estadio Hidalgo and the stadium can hold up to 27.512 people. Los Tuzos wear white jerseys with blue strips in home fixtures, whilst their away colours are black and white.
Japan international Keisuku Honda is regarded one of the biggest stars who played for the club and the former Milan ace scored on his Pachuca debut in a 4-1 triumph over Veracruz. Premier League ace Enner Valencia played for Pachuca in the past as well, with the Ecuador international scoring 12 goals in 17 appearances in the league for the club.
