Czech Republic will look to build on a thrilling 7-1 win over Malta when they take on North Macedonia in their last friendly before EURO 2024 opener against North Macedonia. The Czechs are eyeing their fifth consecutive win in all competitions and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team ahead of Monday’s friendly.
The Macedonians, on the other hand, missed out on a spot at the European Championship finals. As Blagoja Milevski’s men experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-0 loss to Croatia, anything but a routine home win would be a big surprise. All Kostadinov, Mitrovski, and Churlinov are pushing for a start after the trio came off the bench in the last warm-up game. In their last meeting on the international stage Czech Republic rolled over North Macedonia 6-1.

Patrick Schick is a Czech Republic international who plays for Sampdoria as a striker. Schick was born in Prague on January 24, 1996 and he started his career at the youth team of his home-town club Sparta Prague. The 187-cm-tall attacker, played only four games for the capital club before moving to Bohemians 1905 on loan in 2015.
After ending his loan spell with the Klokani, Patrick Schick moved to Italy, signing a deal with Serie A side Sampdoria for a fee of €4 million. The Czech footballer has been playing for La Samp ever since and you should know that he scored 11 goals in 32 appearances for the club in the 2016/2017 Serie A campaign.
The talented striker, who is very good in the air, scored on his debut for Czech Republic in a 6-0 win over Malta in May 2016. Patrick Schick’s preferred foot is left and his contract with Sampdoria should expire on June 30, 2020.

Former Yugoslavian republic North Macedonia became member of both FIFA and UEFA in 1994 and they have been competing on the international stage ever since. The Crveni Risovi rolled over Slovenia (4-1) in their first ever official match and the team recorded their biggest win on November 9, 11996, with the team crushing minnows Liechtenstein 11-1 in Eschen-Mauren.
The North Macedonians have yet to qualify for the finals of a major tournament despite the fact that several high-profile footballers played for the former Yugoslav republic. Goran Pandev is undisputedly the team’s most notable player as he played for the likes of Lazion, Inter, Napoli and Galatasaray during his professional career.
Pandev scored his 28th and 29th goal for North Macedonia in a 3-0 win over Belarus in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers. However, Goce Seldloski is the most capped player (100). North Macedonia welcome their rivals at Philip II Arena and they wear red shirts with yellow stripe and red shorts when playing at home ground. The colour of their away kits is white.
