Hungary and Israel take on each other at Nagyerdei Stadion in what is expected to be one of the most exciting games of Saturday’s program. Marco Rossi’s men aim to recover from a 2-1 loss to Republic of Ireland and they are likely to leave their hearts on the field in their last warm-up game before the EURO 2024 opener against Switzerland. Liverpool ace Dominik Szoboszlai should keep his place in the starting XI, while defender Zsolt Nagy is pushing for a start.
Ran Ben Shimon’s troops, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in the EURO 2024 playoffs match against Iceland. As the Israel boss is likely to mix the squad in Saturday’s friendly, we are tempted to put our money on Hungary, who have big ambitions for the upcoming showpiece tournament in Germany. Willi Orban was born on 3 November, 1992 in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Orban plays as a centre back, but he can operate as a defensive midfielder as well. The 185-cm-tall footballer is a product of Kaiserslautern’s youth academy and he played 35 league games for the reserve team between 2011 and 2013.
Orban made his debut for the first team in 2011, against Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. The Kaiserslautern footballer made 68 league appearances for Kaiserslautern, scoring 7 goals for the German outfit between 2011 and 2015, but in May 2015 he signed a contract with Leipzig. Kaislerslautern fans were very angry with the defender when he decided to join die Bullen.
Willi Orban has two caps for Germany U21, but he has yet to make his debut for the senior team. He has a contract with Leipzig, which expires on 30 June, 2019. Willi Orban has a dual citizenship (Germany, Hungary).

Israel are the direct successor of the Mandatory Palestine national football team. The Israelis received full UEFA membership in 1994, 20 years after leaving AFC and they have been facing European sides in the World Cup qualifiers ever since. Israel participated at the 1970 FIFA World Cup finals in Mexico, but they failed to make it to the knockout stages of the showpiece tournament.
The Israeli national football team have yet to qualify for the final stages of the European Championship, but they made it to the quarter-finals of the Olympics on two occasions (1968, 1976). Israel play their home games at both Sammy Ofer Stadium in Haifa and Teddy Stadium in Jerusalem.
