Our prediction for this match:
Luxembourg will try to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Slovenia when they take on Republic of Ireland in yet another friendly international. Luxembourg have recorded only one win in last eleven games in all competitions, but they are surely capable of making life difficult for the Boys in Green. Although there are no fresh injury worries in the home team, both Eldin Dzogovic and Aiman Dardari are expected to sneak into the starting XI.
The visitors, on the other hand, played out a 1-1 draw with Senegal in their last warm-up game. As Ireland boss Heimir Hallgrimsson is expected to shuffle his pack against Luxembourg, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. All Killian Phillips, Evan Ferguson, Jake O’Brien, and Festy Ebosele are in line for recalls to the starting XI after coming off the bench in the draw with the Lions of Teranga.
Highlighted Player (Garry Rodrigues):

Garry Rodriguez is a Cape Verde international who was born in Rotterdam on November 27, 1990. Rodrigues started his youth career at his hometown club Feyenoord and in 2007 he moved to Real SC. The pacey winger made his senior debut as a XerxesDZB player during the 2009/2010 season and after scoring two goals in 15 appearances in the league, he left the club in 2011.
The Cape Verde footballer played for the likes of Rostocker, Boshuizen, Den Haag, Dordrecht, Levski Sofia, Elche and PAOK before joining Galatasaray in 2017. Rodrigues quickly established himself as a first team regular at Gala and he played an important role in Fatih Terim’s team that won the Turkish Super Lig in the 2017/2018 season.
Speaking of his international career, Garry Rodrigues made his debut for Cape Verde national team in August, 2013 against Gabon. The Galatasaray winger represented Cape Verde at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.
Highlighted Team (Ireland):

Competing as an independent entity since 1953, Republic of Ireland have struggled to match the world’s best national teams ever since, although they did achieve several respectable results on the road. Their best ever result, the 1990 World Cup quarter-final, was achieved with a big smile from Lady Luck seeing that the Irish reached the last eight without winning a single match.
They have since reached the last 16 stage at the 1994 and 2002 tournaments, while only qualifying for three European Championship finals (1988, 2012, 2016). The Irish were in the top 10 of the FIFA Rankings in 1993 and 1994, but have failed to repeat the success in the next twenty odd years, and it appears they are no closer to bridging the gap behind European powerhouses.
Robbie Keane holds the record for most national team caps and goals at the same time, having bagged 67 in 143 appearances, whereas Niall Quinn, Steve Staunton, Damien Duff, Tony Cascarino and Don Givens are some of the other star players.
