Our prediction for this Ireland Premier Division match:
St. Patricks will be aiming to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Derry City when they take on Drogheda United in the Premier Division round 21. The Saints continue with their habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels, with the team eyeing their fourth consecutive win at Richmond Park. Keep in mind, though, that Jamie Lennon is suspended for the match, while important attacker Ronan Coughlan picked up an injury in the last league game.
Drogheda, on the other hand, are undefeated in the previous three league fixtures, but they will have a big fish to fry in Friday’s clash. Considering that St. Patricks are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we predict that the visitors will return to County Louth empty-handed. In their last meeting at Richmond Park the Saints emerged triumphant.
