Tuesday’s football match at Pirelli Stadium pits together Burton Albion and Lincoln City, the two teams with entirely different ambitions in the season finale. The Brewers have been producing fine displays of late, and thanks to three consecutive wins in April they managed to secure the League One survival. Burton want to finish the season in style, and we are positive that they will adopt yet another attack-minded approach against Lincoln.
There are no absentees in the home team ahead of the midweek clash. The Imps, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over MK Dons and Bristol Rovers. Jorge Grant is injured for the visitors, while Tom Hopper is a major doubt and he will be assessed ahead of the kick-off. Despite being born in Singapore on November 17, 1993, Ryan Edwards is eligible to represent Australia in international matches. The 175-cm-tall midfielder has 18 caps with Australia U-23 and it has to be noted that he played for the Socceroos at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup. Speaking of his club career, Edwards is a product of AIS, the high performance sports training institution from Australia, but in 2011 he was spotted by Reading scouts.
Ryan Edwards played for the Royals at senior level, making seven appearances for the club in the league. The Australian international whore Perth Glory (loan), St. Mirren (loan), Partick Thistle and Heart of Midlothian shirts as well before signing a deal with Burton Albion in 2019.
He made his debut with the Brewers in the League One on August 3, 2019 in a 1-0 loss to Ipswich Town. His main position is attacking midfielder, but he is capable of producing fine performances at both central and right midfield as well.

The club’s main colours are red, white and black, whilst the Imps wear green shirts and white shorts when playing on the road. Lincoln City and Mansfield Town are regarded as the club’s fiercest rivals, but the Limps had some sort of local rivalry with Peterborough United, Hull City and York City as well.
