Charlton and Plymouth go head to head at the Valley in what is expected to be one of the most exciting games of Saturday’s program. The Red Robins made a slow start to the season, but their displays in both late October and November are giving fans a reason for optimism. The capital club aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Burton, but they will have to prove their worth on the field. The bad news for the hosts is that forward Jayden Stockley, who has netted six goals so far this term, misses out through suspension.
The Pilgrims, on the other hand, did well to roll over Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 in the FA Cup on Tuesday evening. Plymouth are eager to retain top position in the standings, but beating the high-flying Red Robins in London is easier said than done. Taking everything into account, the share of spoils is on the cards at the Valley.

Born in Southend-on-Sea, England on April 25, 1994 Jake Forster-Caskey is a midfielder who plays for Charlton Athletic in the League One. Forster-Caskey started his both youth and senior careers at Brighton & Hove Albion and it has to be noted that he scored five goals in 67 league appearances for the Seagulls first team.
After spending a couple of seasons on loan at the likes of Oxford United, Milton Keynes Dons and Rotherham United, the English footballer signed a two-and-a-half year deal with Charlton Athletic in the winter of 2017. Jake quickly established himself as a first-team regular at the capital club, scoring 5 goals in 43 appearances in the 2017/2018 League One campaign.
However, he was out of contention for most of the 2018/2019 season with a serious knee injury. His main position is central midfielder, but he is capable of playing as both defensive and left midfielder as well.
