Our prediction for this League 1 match:
Buoyed by a 2-1 win over Oxford United, Leyton Orient will look to move closer to the playoffs berth when they take on Blackpool on Matchday 27. The O’s quickly bounced back from a 2-1 loss to Burton, with the team regaining a much-needed confidence, but they face an uphill task in the midweek clash. All Dan Happe, Jordan Graham, and Dan Agyei remain in the recovery, but there are no fresh injury worries in the home team.
The Seasiders, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Peterborough and Bolton. As Blackpool are eager to stay in the League One playoffs race as well, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be Jake Beesley, who scored a brace in the last league match, while experienced forward Jordan Rhodes remains on the sidelines through injury.
Highlighted Player (Chris Maxwell):
Chris Maxwell is a Welsh goalkeeper who was born in St Asaph on July 30, 1990. Maxwell began his youth career at Penrhyn Bay (1998-2000) and in 2000 he moved to Wrexham. Chris Maxwell made 110 appearances in the league for the Trawlermen and on May 16, 2016 he signed a three-year deal with Championship side Preston North End. You should know that he managed to keep clean sheets in 38 appearances for the Lilywhites in the 2016/2017 Championship campaign.
Due to his dual citizenship, Maxwell is capable of representing both Wales and Scotland at senior level, but he played for the Dragons at youth level, being capped for the U21 team 16 times.
