Lincoln play host to Wycombe at their LNER stadium on day 17 of the new League One campaign. The Imps have been producing excellent displays at home of late, but they face a tough challenge against the Chairboys. Paudio O’Connor limped off with injury in a goalless draw with Exeter City, with Ethan Erhahon likely to step up. Head coach Michael Skubala is likely to stick to the 3-5-2 formation.
Wycombe Wanderers, on the other hand, look unstoppable at the moment, with the team winning each of their last eight games in all competitions. As Wycombe have been impressive at both ends of late, we predict that they are going to give fans yet another reason to celebrate on Saturday afternoon. Important attacker Richard Kone should be recalled to the starting XI after the 21-year-old Ivory Coast international was rested in the EFL Trophy win over Crawley Town.

Sam Vokes began his professional career at Bournemouth and after scoring 16 goals in 54 appearances for the Cherries, he moved to Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2008. He signed a four-year deal contract with the Wolves, but was quickly sent on loan to Leeds United. After spending enjoying loan stints with Bristol City, Sheffield United, Norwich City, Burnley and Brighton, he signed a permanent contract with the Clarets for a fee of £350k.
Sam Vokes impressed in the 2013/2014 Championship campaign, with the Wales international scoring 20 goals in the process. He was struggling with injuries in the 2014/2015 Premier League campaign and, as a result, he failed to find the net for Burnley in 15 appearances in the English top flight. Vokes found his best form in the 2015/2016 season and thanks to his 15 goals the Clarets returned to the English elite division.
Sam Vokes was born and raised in England, but his grandfather was born in Wales and, as a result, he made his debut for the Dragons on 28 May, 2008 in a 1-0 win over Iceland. Vokes helped Wales reach the Euro 2016 semi-finals, scoring in the 3-1 quarter-final win over Belgium.

Lincoln City are one of the oldest clubs competing in the League One as they were founded back in 1884. Lincoln City FC were established as an amateur association, but they turned professional in the 1891/1892 season.
Back then they played at John O’Gaunts stadium, but nowadays Sincil Bank is the club’s home ground. Sincil Bank was opened in 1895, holding up to 10,120 people. The club’s main colours are red, white and black, whilst the Imps wear green shirts and white shorts when playing on the road. Lincoln City and Mansfield Town are regarded as the club’s fiercest rivals, but the Limps had some sort of local rivalry with Peterborough United, Hull City and York City as well.
