Our prediction for this League 1 match:
Stadium MK will host Tuesday’s League One game between MK Dons and Bolton, the two teams who sit in the opposite halves of the table. The Dons aim to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Exeter, and they are likely to fight tooth and nail against the Trotters. All Mohamed Eisa, Tennai Watson, and Josh McEachran are sidelined with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team. You should know that MK Dons are undefeated in the previous three meetings with Bolton.
The visitors, on the other hand, desperately needed a win against Charlton, and they managed to get one. Ian Evatt’s troops aim to climb to the playoffs berth, but seeing that MK Dons do not suit the visiting side, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. Iceland international Jon Bodvarsson should be the only absentee in the away side.
Highlighted Player (Mo Eisa):
Born on the 12th of July, 1994, in Khartoum, Sudan, Mo Eisa is a Sudanese professional footballer who plays for Peterborough United in the third tier of English Football. The 6ft tall striker/ winger is a Pro Touch Soccer Academy product.
The initial years of his career were spent playing non-league football with teams like Dartford, Leatherhead, and Greenwich Borough, the latter for whom he scored over 50 goals in 100 appearances. On the 7th of July, 2017, Eisa signed a contract with League Two outfit Cheltenham Town and made his league debut on the 5th of August, 2017.
A prolific season with the Robins earned him the Supporters' Player Of The Year and the Players' Player Of The Year awards at the end of the season. For the 18/19 season, the 25-year-old joined Championship side Bristol for a brief stint before returning to League One with Peterborough for the following season on a four-year contract.
Highlighted Team (Bolton):
Bolton Wanderers were formed as Christ Church Football Club back in 1874 and three years later they adopted their current name. The Trotters currently compete in the Championship and they play their home games at Macron Stadium, which was opened in 1997.
Speaking of the club’s trophies, Bolton Wanderers won the FA Cup on four occasions (1923, 1926, 1929 and 1958), but they have yet to win the Premier League title. The Trotters were producing splendid displays in the 2003/2004 Premier League campaign, with the team finishing the season in eighth position in the standings, which is regarded as the club’s best result in the English top flight.
Bolton did well to reach the UEFA Cup knockout stages in the 2007/2008 season; the English outfit eliminated Atletico Madrid in the two-legged tie, but Sporting Lisbon eventually proved to be a big catch for the Trotters.
Nigeria international Jay-Jay Okocha is one of the most notable footballers who played for Bolton and he scored 14 goals in 124 appearances in the league for the club. Bury are considered the club’s fiercest rivals.
