The Posh have been scoring goals for fun of late and they are likely to adopt yet another attack-minded approach against Cambridge. Forward Ricky-Jade Jones is widely expected to return to the starting XI after coming as a substitute in the EFL Trophy win over Crystal Palace U21.
The U’s, on the other hand, are on a five-game winning run in all competitions, but seeing that Peterborough are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we are not tempted to put our money on the away team. In their last encounter at Weston Homes Stadium Peterborough crushed Cambridge 5-0. Experienced midfielder James Brophy is widely expected to return to the starting XI after coming as a substitute in the EFL Trophy win over Chelsea U21.
