Adams Park will host Saturday’s football game between Wycombe and Barnsley, the two teams who defeated Cheltenham Town and Derby County respectively in their last league matches. The Chairboys did well to put an end to their three-game winless run, with the team regaining a much-needed confidence and they are surely capable of making life difficult for the Tykes in front of home fans. DR Congo forward Beryly Lubala is widely expected to return to the starting XI after scoring as a substitute in the midweek triumph.
The visitors, meanwhile, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Fleetwood Town and Derby County. Barnsley are eager to stay in the automatic promotion race and given their signs of improvement up front, both teams to score betting option should be considered. The opposition back-line should have Adam Phillips at bay as the 26-year-old midfielder scored a brace against the Rams.

Sam Vokes began his professional career at Bournemouth and after scoring 16 goals in 54 appearances for the Cherries, he moved to Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2008. He signed a four-year deal contract with the Wolves, but was quickly sent on loan to Leeds United. After spending enjoying loan stints with Bristol City, Sheffield United, Norwich City, Burnley and Brighton, he signed a permanent contract with the Clarets for a fee of £350k.
Sam Vokes impressed in the 2013/2014 Championship campaign, with the Wales international scoring 20 goals in the process. He was struggling with injuries in the 2014/2015 Premier League campaign and, as a result, he failed to find the net for Burnley in 15 appearances in the English top flight. Vokes found his best form in the 2015/2016 season and thanks to his 15 goals the Clarets returned to the English elite division.
Sam Vokes was born and raised in England, but his grandfather was born in Wales and, as a result, he made his debut for the Dragons on 28 May, 2008 in a 1-0 win over Iceland. Vokes helped Wales reach the Euro 2016 semi-finals, scoring in the 3-1 quarter-final win over Belgium.

Barnsley are an English club nicknamed the Tykes. The club was founded in 1887 and it has to be noted that they spend more seasons in the Championship than any other club in the history. The Tykes played in the Sheffield and District League from 1890, but in 1895 they were part of the Midland League. Barnsley play their home games at Oakwell, the stadium that was built in 1887.
The capacity of the stadium is 23,009 and it was opened back in 1888, just one year after the club’s foundation. The Tykes made it to the FA Cup final in 1910, but Newcastle United proved to be a big catch for the Oakwell outfit in the title game.
Nonetheless, Barnsley won the FA cup trophy in 1912 and that is considered the club’s biggest success. Barnsley defeated West Bromwich Albion in the two-legged tie (0-0, 1-0) to clinch the prestigious trophy for the first and only time in their history.
