Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Following back-to-back draws with Gillingham and Swindon, Accrington will look to return to winning ways when they face Bradford City on Matchday 39. The Accy Stanley are sitting in the danger zone, ten points clear of bottom two, meaning that they are safe for now. Anyhow, Accrington would be happy with one point from Saturday’s encounter. Both Connor O’Brien and Joe O’Brien Whitmarsh are back from international duty, while midfielder Tyler Walton returns from suspension.
The Bantams, on the other hand, are on the right track to secure automatic League One promotion, but they can’t afford any complacency in the season finale. As Bradford City want this win more than Accrington Stanley, we are tempted to place our bets on the home team. Accrington defenders should have Bradford attacking duo Kavanagh – Lapslie at bay. There are no fresh injury worries in the visiting team.
Highlighted Team (Accrington):

Founded back in 1891 and reformed in 1968, Accrington Stanley are an English football club that compete in the League One. The original team competed in the Football League from 1921 to 1962, spending the last four seasons in Lancashire Combination.
The Accy are well known for their red home kit, whilst they wear sky blue shirts and white shorts when playing on the travels. The League One side play their home games at Crown Ground, the stadium which can hold up to 5,450 spectators (3,100 seated). Accrington have been playing at Crown Ground since 1970.
Listed as the all-time favourite player amongst fans, Chris Grimshaw is one of the most famous Accrington Stanley footballers. However, George Stewart is the team’s top scorer, netting 136 goals in total from 1954 to 1958. It has to be noted that the Accy have yet to represent England in European competitions.
