He made his debut with the Green Army against Oldham Athletic on the opening day of the 2019/2020 season. Bernard, who quickly established himself as a first-team regular at Forest Green, has one cap with the Republic of Ireland U18 team while making two appearances with the U17 team.
He was born in Gloucester, England on March 29, 1997, and he wears the number 3 shirt at Forest Green. His main position is right back, but he is capable of producing fine performances as a centre-back as well.
