Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Following a 1-0 loss to Mansfield, Northampton Town will be aiming to keep their automatic promotion hopes alive when they host Bradford City to their Sixfields Stadium. The Cobblers have been having their ups and downs of late, but Saturday’s clash could be the turning point for the home team. Midfielder Paul Lewis serves a one-game ban, while Tyler Magloire should recover in time to face Bradford City.
The Bantams, on the other hand, suffered a dip in form, and given their three-game winless run, we do not believe that Northampton will have a better chance than this to return to winning ways. Both Abo Eisa and Lee Angol continue to miss out with injuries for the visiting team. In the first half of the season the two teams played out a 1-1 draw, but punters from all around the globe can find value in betting on Jon Brady’s charges.
Highlighted Player (Joseph Mills):
Joseph Mills is an Aston Villa product who plays for Northampton Town in the League One. Mills moved to Southampton in 2006, and he continued playing for the Saints at senior level. After ending his loan spells with Scunthorpe United and Doncaster Rovers, the pacey left-back joined Reading in 2011, but he made no more than 15 appearances for the Royals in the league.
After his short spell with Burnley, Joseph Mills moved to Oldham Athletic, and it has to be noted that he played for the likes of Perth Glory, Shrewsbury Town, and Forest Green Rovers as well before moving to Northampton Town.
Mills was born in Swindon, England on October 30, 1989, and he wears the No. 23 shirt with the Cobblers. His primary position is left-back, but coaches use him as a left midfielder as well. He has a contract with Northampton Town which should expire in June 2022.
