Bolton
Vale Park will host Saturday’s football game between Port Vale and Bolton Wanderers. Port Vale are on a seven-game winless run in the League Two, and they face an uphill task against the in-form Trotters. It has to be noted, though, that the Valiants failed to turn their dominance into victory in a goalless draw with Oldham.
Bolton, on the other hand, have been impressive in the League Two in the second half of the season, and, as a result, they climbed to the playoffs berth. The Trotters are high on confidence following a 2-1 win over Cambridge United, and they should take advantage of Port Vale’s anything but good form. A man to keep an eye on in the away side will be experienced Ireland attacker Eoin Doyle, who has been scoring goals for fun in the English fourth tier of late.

David Amoo is a professional football player who was born in Southwark, London, England on April 13, 1991. Amoo spent his youth career at the likes of Millwall and Liverpool, but nowadays he plays for League Two side Port Vale.
It has to be noted that the pacey winger played for the likes of Milton Keynes Dons (loan), Hull City (loan), Bury (loan), Preston, Tranmere Rovers, Carlisle United, Patrick Thistle, and Cambridge United as well before joining the Valiants in the summer of 2019. David Amoo made his League Two debut with Port Vale on August 3, 2019, in a 1-1 draw with Colchester United.
He scored his first goal for the Valiants in a 1-1 draw with Northampton Town seven days later. His primary position is a right winger, but he is often used as both left winger and second striker. David Amoo has dual citizenship (England/Nigeria).

Bolton Wanderers were formed as Christ Church Football Club back in 1874 and three years later they adopted their current name. The Trotters currently compete in the Championship and they play their home games at Macron Stadium, which was opened in 1997.
Speaking of the club’s trophies, Bolton Wanderers won the FA Cup on four occasions (1923, 1926, 1929 and 1958), but they have yet to win the Premier League title. The Trotters were producing splendid displays in the 2003/2004 Premier League campaign, with the team finishing the season in eighth position in the standings, which is regarded as the club’s best result in the English top flight.
Bolton did well to reach the UEFA Cup knockout stages in the 2007/2008 season; the English outfit eliminated Atletico Madrid in the two-legged tie, but Sporting Lisbon eventually proved to be a big catch for the Trotters.
Nigeria international Jay-Jay Okocha is one of the most notable footballers who played for Bolton and he scored 14 goals in 124 appearances in the league for the club. Bury are considered the club’s fiercest rivals.
