The Lions did well to beat third-place Northampton at the weekend, which is certainly giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Sutton. Callum Hendry is back from suspension, while all Lund, Simoes, Shepard, and Mallan have been struggling with injuries of late.
Meanwhile, the Yellows have been in a splendid form at the start of 2023, with the team beating all Crawley, Gillingham, and AFC Wimbledon, while sharing the spoils with Tranmere. Conor McAleny played for the likes of Scunthorpe United, Brentford, Cardiff City, Charlton Athletic, Wigan Athletic and Oxford United before signing a deal with Fleetwood Town.
