Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Angers will try to claim a major scalp in the Ligue 1 round 26 when they welcome Monaco to their Stade Raymond-Kopa on Saturday evening. Les Scoistes are determined to secure yet another top flight survival, but it has to be noted that they face a tough fixture list in days to come. Both Adrien Hunou and Cedric Hountondji are rated doubtful for the home side.
Les Rouges et Blancs, on the other hand, aim to stay in the Champions League berth. Even though Monaco have been struggling on the travels in 2025, away win should be considered as Swiss midfielder Denis Zakaria is back from suspension. January signing Mika Biereth, who has already started paying off, is widely expected to lead the line for the away team. Earlier this season, Angers shocked Monaco at Stade Louis II, meaning that the visitors are hungry for revenge.
