Out-of-sorts Auxerre will try to put an end to their four-game losing run when they take on Brest on Matchday 9. The newcomers were struggling at the back before the international break, but it seems as if they will not have a better chance than this to get back on course. Keep in mind, though, that all Gaetan Charbonnier, Theo Pellenard, and Julian Jeanvier are out of contention with injuries for the home side.
The rock-bottom side, on the other hand, made a slow start to the season, with the team suffering their fifth defeat of the process against AC Ajaccio. Given their shaky defence, we predict that Auxerre will return to winning ways in the national championship this weekend. Both Jeremy Le Douaron and Noah Fadiga should miss out with injuries for the away team.
