Sunday’s football game at Matmut Atlantique pits together Bordeaux and Monaco, the two teams with entirely different forms. Les Girondins are on a three-game losing run in the Ligue 1, and, as a result, their elite division status is in danger. All Samuel Kalu, Dilane Bakwa, and Otavio are out of contention with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team. Les Rouges et Blancs are on a three-game winning run in the French top flight, with the team eyeing a place in the Champions League.
Monaco should take advantage of Bordeaux’s poor form, and, taking everything into account, away win should be considered. Willem Geubbels is out of contention through heart problems, but he should be the only absentee in the away team. In the first half of the season Monaco recorded a routine 4-0 win over Bordeaux at Stade Louis II.

Edson Andre Sitoe “Mexer”, who was born in Maputo, Mozambique on September 8, 1988, began his senior career at Desportivo Maputo and he scored three goals in 97 appearances for the club. Mexer played for his home-town club from 2006 to 2010 and in the winter of 2010 he joined Portuguese side Sporting for a fee of €173,000.
The Mozambique centre-back was quickly loaned to Olhanense and it has to be noted that he made 39 appearances for the Primeira Liga club in the league. In 2012 he was sold to fellow Portuguese outfit Nacional and after playing 57 league games for the club, Mexer moved to France. The 187-cm-tall footballer signed a contract with Rennes in January, 2014 and he has been playing for les Rouges et Noirs ever since.
Mexer made his debut for Mozambique national team in 2007 and he represented Os Mambas at the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations. He scored his first goal for Mozambique in a 5-0 win over South Sudan in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Though based in Monaco, Les Rouges et Blances – as they are commonly referred to – play their games in the French football league system. Members of the top tier Ligue 1, Monaco play their home matches at the Stade Louis II in Fontvieille in front of 18,500 people.
