Dijon
Lens and Dijon take on each other at Stade Bollaert-Delelis in the Ligue 1 round 26 in what is expected to be a very exciting game. Lens aim to climb to the Europa League berth, and the fact that they are undefeated in the previous four league fixtures is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Dijon. Ignatius Ganago should be the only absentee in the home team.
Les hiboux, on the other hand, are on a five-game losing run in the Ligue 1, and seeing that the Yellow-Reds are enjoying a season to remember, home win should be considered. In the first half of the season Lens defeated Dijon thanks to Arnaud Kalimuendo’s goal, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the home team. Born in Paris on May 7, 1995, Seko Fofana is a midfielder who plays for Serie A side Udinese. Fofana started his career at the youth teams of Paris FC and in 2010 he moved to Lorient. After spending four years at the club, the French footballer joined Premier League side Manchester City in the 2013/2014 season.
Despite being a Man City player from 2014 to 2016, Seko Fofana did not see any game action in the English top flight with the Citizens as he was immediately sent on loan to Fulham (2014/2015). He played for Bastia on loan in the 2015/2016 season as well and in the summer of 2016 he signed a five-year deal with Italian side Udinese.
You should know that Fofana scored five goals in 22 appearances for the Zebrette in the 2016/2017 Serie A campaign. His contract with the Serie A team should expire on June 30, 2022. Due to his dual citizenship the Udinese footballer is eligible to play for France and Ivory Coast at senior level.

Founded in 1998, Dijon is a result of a merger between two local clubs. The Mustards played their first ever match in the Ligue 1 on August 7, 2011, with the team suffering a heavy 5-1 loss on their debut in the French top flight. After suffering relegation to Ligue 2 at the end of the 2011/2012 season, the club returned to the French elite division in 2016.
The Mustards finished the 2016/2017 Ligue 1 campaign in 16th place in the standings, only one point clear of the relegation zone. Dijon are well known for their red jerseys, while they wear white when playing on the road. The Mustards welcome their rivals at Stade Gaston Gerard, the venue which was both built and opened in 1934.
