Lens will be aiming to extend their winning run to four games when they take on Strasbourg at Stade Bollaert-Delelis. Les Sang et Or are eager to book their place in the Champions League, and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at Le Racing. All Julien Le Cardinal, Steven Fortes, and Adam Buksa continue to miss out with injuries, but boss Franck Haise can count on key players for Friday’s encounter.

Born in Paris on May 7, 1995, Seko Fofana is a midfielder who plays for Serie A side Udinese. Fofana started his career at the youth teams of Paris FC and in 2010 he moved to Lorient. After spending four years at the club, the French footballer joined Premier League side Manchester City in the 2013/2014 season.
Despite being a Man City player from 2014 to 2016, Seko Fofana did not see any game action in the English top flight with the Citizens as he was immediately sent on loan to Fulham (2014/2015). He played for Bastia on loan in the 2015/2016 season as well and in the summer of 2016 he signed a five-year deal with Italian side Udinese.
You should know that Fofana scored five goals in 22 appearances for the Zebrette in the 2016/2017 Serie A campaign. His contract with the Serie A team should expire on June 30, 2022. Due to his dual citizenship the Udinese footballer is eligible to play for France and Ivory Coast at senior level.

Founded back in 1906, Strasbourg is a professional football team that compete in French Ligue 1. Le Racing did remarkably well to win the 1979 Ligue 1 trophy and that is considered the biggest success in the history of the club. Strasbourg won Coupe de France on three occasions (1951, 1966, 2001) and they have three Coupe de la Ligue trophies as well (1964, 1997, 2005). Strasbourg’s main rivals are Metz and the two teams face each other in the Derby de l’Est (The Eastern derby).
Le Racing recorded their biggest victory over Valenciennes (10-0) in the 1937-1938 season, whilst they suffered their biggest loss to Limoges (0-8) in the 1959/1960 season.
