Metz and Lens go head to head at Stade Municipal Saint-Symphorien in a highly-anticipated Ligue 1 game. Metz’s main goal is to secure the elite division survival, while Lens are fighting hard to book a place in European competitions. Les Grenats, though, want this win more than the visitors, and that is the main reason why home triumph should be considered.
Vincent Pajot continues to miss out through suspension, while both Fabien Centonze and Matthieu Udol are out of contention with injuries. As for the visiting team, both Corentin Jean and Wesley Said remain in the recovery room. After spending his youth career at Mantes and Valenciennes, Opa Nguette made his senior debut for Mantes in 2011. In 2012 he returned to his boyhood club Valenciennes and it has to be noted that the attacker scored 8 goals in 60 appearances for the club from 2012 to 2016.
Opa Nguette is currently playing for Metz in Ligue 1 and his contract with the club expires on June 30, 2019. The pacey footballer who is capable of playing as both left and right winger has three caps for France U20 team, but he made his senior debut with Senegal. Opa Nguette played 65 minutes in a 1-1 draw with Nigeria on his debut for the Senegal national team.
The Caen attacker, who was born in Mantes-la-Jolie on July 8, 1994, scored four goals for Metz in the 2016/2017 Ligue 1 campaign. He made three assists for his teammates as well during the season and you should bear in mind that he played 33 games in the league for les Grenats.

Based in the Pas-De-Calais department, Lens is a French club that plays home games at Stade Bollaert-Delelis. The Sang et Or are well known for their red shirts with yellow stripes, while black is the dominant colour of their away jersey.
The club was founded back in 1906 and the Sang et Or originally played in green and black shirts. Speaking of their home ground, Stade Bollaert-Delelis can hold up to 38,058 spectators. The venue was opened back in 1933, and renovated during the 2014/15 season. Lens did well to win the Ligue 1 trophy in the 1997/98 season, with the team finishing the process level on points with second-place Metz.
As a result, the Sang et Or represented France in the Champions League group stages the following season. The club’s biggest European success came in the 1999/00 season when they made it to the UEFA Cup semis. Lens have won two Coupe de la Ligue trophies as well.
