Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Stade Saint-Symphorien will host Sunday’s football game between Metz and Rennes, the two teams who were beaten by Lille and Brest respectively at the weekend. Les Grenats are desperate to escape the relegation zone and they are likely to leave their hearts on the field. All Christopher Herelle, Joel Asoro, and Benjamin Tetteh are out of contention with injuries for the home side.
Les Rouges et Noirs, on the other hand, want to stay in the Conference League race. As the visiting side will go for a win in Sunday’s encounter as well, we believe that there is a big value in betting on over 2.5 goals. Anyhow, Rennes are closer to picking up all three points from the match than Metz. A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be Arnaud Kalimuendo, who scored a brace in the last league match, while Julien Stephan has no fresh injury worries.
Highlighted Team (Rennes):
