Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Nice will be looking to recover from a 2-0 loss to Olympique Lyon when they take on Auxerre in the Ligue 1 round 26. Les Aiglons are eager to stay in the Champions League berth and it seems as if they will not have a better chance than this to get back on course. Jonathan Clauss serves a one-game ban due to accumulation of yellow cards, while all Terem Moffi, Mattia Viti, and Morgan Sanson remain in the treatment room.
Christophe Pelissier’s troops, on the other hand, are stuck in the middle of the table with 31 points on their account. Auxerre did remarkably well to beat Reims 2-0 at the weekend, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry against Nice, who are a real force to be reckoned with at home. Defender Clement Akpa is banned for the visiting side, while both Nathan Buayi-Kiala and Lasso Coulibaly are out of contention with injuries.
