Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Roazhon Park will host Sunday’s football game between Rennes and Montpellier, Les Rouges et Noirs aim to make amends for back-to-back defeats to Strasbourg and Reims and they are seen as favourites to win the round 4 clash. Goalkeeper Dogan Alemdar remains on the sidelines with injury, while defender Leo Ostigard serves a one-game ban due to the accumulation of yellow cards.
La Paillade, on the other hand, have been struggling defensively of late, with the team conceding nine goals in total in back-to-back losses to PSG (0-6) and Nantes (1-3). As Rennes are on a five-game winning run against Montpellier at Roazhon Park, anything but a routine home win would be a big surprise. The likes of Issiaga Sylla, Joris Chotard, Boubakar Kouyate, Theo Sainte-Luce, and Lucas Mincarelli miss out with injuries for the visiting team, while both Tchato and Nzingoula should sneak into the starting XI.
