Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
At the Stade de la Meinau in Strasbourg, we will see Strasbourg come up against Saint-Etienne in what seems to be a mid-table clash. Strasbourg come into this game in slightly better shape. They have won 3 and lost 2 of their last 5 games, which is a pretty solid return for a team looking to avoid relegation. They have seen some high-scoring games recently, with 4-0 win against Amiens, 4-2 win against Toulouse, and a surprising 5-0 loss against Brest.
Saint-Etienne have not been so good recently. The side has recorded just one win in their previous 5 league games but was in good form prior to that. This can be attributed to the many injuries – they have been without Honorat, Cabaye, Hamouma and Monnet-Paquet. This game can go either way, though. Saint-Etienne have scored in most of their away games, despite losing a lot, while Strasbourg have scored in all but one game this season at home. We can see both teams scoring, and we will give the home team a slight advantage.

Highlighted Player (Kenny Lala):

Born on the 3rd of October, 1991, Kenny Lala is a professional footballer who plays for Strasbourg. Lala started his youth career with local amateur club ES Parisienne and spent four years developing with the club before being recruited by Paris FC in 2008.
Two years later, the French left-back signed his first professional contract with PFC and made his senior debut on the 14th of September, 2010, in a league game against Strasbourg Alsace. The following season, Lala joined Valenciennes and made his Ligue 1 one debut on the 6th of November, 2011, featuring in the club's 1-1 draw with Stade Rennais.
Following successful spells at the Athenians and then at RC Lens, the 28 years old signed for Strasbourg in 2017 on a contract that that is set to expire in 2021. On the International front, Lala has never represented France at any youth level and is yet to get called-up to its senior team.
Highlighted Team (St Etienne):

Saint Etienne are a professional football club that compete in French Ligue 1. Les Verts were founded in 1919 by employees of a grocery store chain based in Saint Etienne. Saint Etienne wear green shirts and white shorts when playing at home ground and they play their home matches at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard.
The stadium was opener on 13 September, 1931 and following the renovation the capacity of the venue increased to 42 000. In 1981 les Verts won their tenth Ligue 1 trophy, but they have been in the shadow of Ligue 1 giants Lyon and PSG in the 21st century.
Speaking of the club’s European success, Saint Etienne made it to the European Cup (Champions League) final in 1976, but Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich proved to be a big catch for the French outfit. Anyhow, that is regarded as the club’s biggest success. It has to be noted that the likes of Michel Platini, Jacques Santini, Laurent Blanc and Aime Jacquet all played for Saint Etienne in the past.
