Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Saturday’s football game at Stadium de Toulouse pits together Toulouse and Lille, the two teams with completely different ambitions in the 2019/2020 season. Les Pitchouns sit in the danger zone in the Ligue 1 standings and their main goal is to avoid relegation to the French second tier at the end of the season. Toulouse have been struggling at the back of late and seeing that they failed to win previous five league fixtures, home win should not be considered.
Les Dogues, on the other hand, made a promising start to the season, with the team sitting in 4th place in the standings, only one point behind top three. Lille summer signing Victor Osimhen has been scoring goals for fun in the first half of the season and the Ligue 1 top scorer is likely to lead les Dogues to yet another triumph this weekend.

Highlighted Player (Baptiste Reynet):

Baptiste Reynet is a goalkeeper who was born in Romans, France on October 28, 1990. After playing for the likes of Moursoise and Valence at youth level, he joined Martigue football academy in 2007. The 185-cm-tall shoot-stopper made 53 appearances for the Martigues first team and in 2011 he moved to Dijon.
Baptiste Reynet was producing fine performances with the Mustards in the 2012/2013 Ligue 2 campaign and, as a result, Lorient chiefs decided to bring him to Stade du Moustoir. Reynet, though, played only six games for les Merlus in the French top flight as he was loaned back to Dijon after only one year at Lorient.
The French goalkeeper impressed in the 2015/2016 Ligue 2 campaign and it has to be noted that he made 17 clean sheets in the process. Baptiste Reynet, who has established himself as a first-choice shoot-stopper at Dijon has a contract with the club which expired on June 30, 2021.
Highlighted Team (Lille):

Lille have been playing an important role in French football ever since they were founded in 1944. Les Dogues won their first domestic trophy in the 1945/1946 season.
Lille did well to win their second Ligue 1 title in 1954 and 57 years later they lifted their last domestic title. Les Douges finished the 2010/2011 season in top position in the standings, eight points clear of second-placed Olympique Marseille and it has to be noted that Lille attacker Moussa Sow won the Golden Boot (25 goals).
Lille are one of the two teams that managed to win three consecutive Coupe de France trophies (1946, 1947, 1948), but they have yet to clinch the Coupe de la Ligue title. Les Dogues faced PSG in the 2015/2016 Coupe de la Ligue trophy, but les Parisiens proved to be a big catch for Frederic Antonetti’s team in the title game.
Lille play their home matches at Stade Pierre-Mauroy and the capacity of the stadium is 50.186. The venue was opened in August, 2017 and the construction cost €282 million.
