Our prediction for this MLS match:
DC United will be aiming to extend their unbeaten run at home when they take on Inter Miami at Audi Field. The capital club have been showing signs of improvement under new boss Rene Weiler and they proved once again in recent outings that they are a tough nut to crack in front of their own fans. All Fletcher, Leal, and Peglow remain in the recovery room, but the Black-and-Red are still capable of making life difficult for the star-studded visitors.
Inter Miami, on the other hand, are still without their key man Leo Messi, who is sidelined with a hamstring injury. Without the Argentine maestro, “Los Herons” often struggle to break down well-organized defences, even though the likes of Luis Suárez and Leonardo Campana remain attacking threats. Tata Martino’s men have failed to impress on the road in recent weeks, which is another reason why picking up all three points in Washington will be a big challenge. Taking everything into account, a share of spoils is on the cards.
