New England Revolution
Audi Field will host Sunday’s MLS game between DC United and New England Revolution. The capital club aim to make amends for a 3-2 loss to Austin, and they are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach against New England. Head coach Hernan Losada rested several first-team regulars in the US Open Cup win over Flower City, but he is going to field the best possible side this time out.
Home win, though, should not be considered as important attacker Ola Kamara is sidelined through suspension. The Revs, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over Charlotte. New England regained a much-needed confidence at the weekend, and given DC United’s four-game losing run in MLS, we predict that the visitors will emerge triumphant in the Audi Field showdown. Goalkeeper Matt Turner should be the only absentee in the away team.

Felipe Campanholi Martins is a Brazilian footballer who was born on September 30, 1990 in Engenheiro Beltrao. After playing for the likes of PSTC-Londrina, Atletico Catarinense and Campo Grande during his youth career, he started his senior career at Padova.
The Brazilian midfielder appeared in no more than four league matches for the Italian club and in 2009 he moved to Switzerland, signing a deal with FC Winterthur. At the end of the season he joined fellow Swiss Super League club Lugano and he quickly established himself as a first-team regular. In the winter of 2011 Felipe moved to MLS, signing a deal with expansion team Montreal Impact.
He scored his first MLS goal in a 2-0 win over Sporting Kansas City on May 5, 2012 and he has been playing an important role in the team ever since. Felipe has yet to represent Brazil at senior level, but he could play for Canada national team in the future as he applied for permanent residency.
Highlighted Team (New England Revolution):
Unlike famous NFL club New England Patriots, the Revolution have yet to win the domestic trophy. New England participated five times in the MLS Cup final, but they were more than fortunate not to lift the silverware. The Revs played their last final in 2014, with the team losing to LA Galaxy in the title game at StubHub Center. New England Revolution, though, clinched the North American SuperLiga trophy in 2008 and that is considered as the club’s biggest success.
It has to be noted that the Revs defeated Houston Dynamo on penalties in the final of the tournament. New England Revolution were founded in 1994 and Gillette Stadium is the home ground of the club. Legendary defender Alexi Lalas played for the Revolution (1996-1997) and he scored three goals for the Gillette Stadium outfit. Fellow USA ace Clint Dempsey was part of the team as well and you should know that he netted 25 goals in 71 league appearances for the club.
