Our prediction for this MLS match:
Inter Miami and Nashville, the two newcomers, take on each other at Inter Miami CF Stadium in what is expected to be a close encounter. Diego Alonso’s troops did well to hold Atlanta United to a goalless draw in midweek, and they are now on a quest to get their revenge on Nashvile for the 1-0 defeat at Nissan Stadium. It has to be noted, though, that the likes of Acosta, Matuidi, Norman, and Ulysse are all likely to miss the match with injury.
Nashville, on the other hand, shared the spoils with Orlando City in their last league match. Gary Smith’s men have been performing above expectations in the 2020 MLS season, and they are surely capable of matching Inter Miami behind closed doors. Share of spoils is on the cards, and we believe that punters can find value in betting on draw. The likes of Medranda and Tribbett remain in the recovery room for the visitors.
Highlighted Player (Blaise Matuidi):
Often described as fierce and strong tackler, Blaise Matuidi is one of the PSG’s engines in the centre of the park. Having begun his career at amateur and semi-professional clubs, the 29-year-old midfielder broke onto the big stage in 2004 when he signed for Troyes.
After a three-season spell he was transferred to Saint-Etienne where he played 132 league appearances in four years before signing with PSG. Although a midfielder tasked with ruining rivals’ play and providing support to his team mates from the back, Blaise Matuidi has a knack for scoring important goals. In 2015 Blaise Matuidi scored in a 2-1 win over Montpeiller to confirm a third consecutive French League title for his club after which he was named in the UNFP Ligue 1 Team of the Year for the second time in his career.
The 29-year-old is a national team regular who took part in France’s Euro 2016 campaign giving his contribution to the team’s road to the final of the competition.
