Portland Timbers
Los Angeles FC will be looking to make amend for back-to-back losses to Portland Timbers and San Jose Earthquakes when they take on Portland Timbers on Thursday morning. The Black and Gold have been struggling in MLS ever since key attacker Carlos Vela suffered an injury, and seeing that the midweek clash comes too early for the Mexico international, home win should not be considered.
The likes of Segura, Quezada, Opoku, Gaines, Duenas, Atuesta, and Blackmon remain in the recovery room as well. The Timbers, on the other hand, impressed in a 6-1 win over Real Salt Lake, and given the number of absentees in the home team, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the away side.
