Los Angeles FC will be aiming to build on a 2-0 win over Inter Miami when they take on Vancouver Whitecaps in the last match of MLS round 4. Los Angeles continue to rely on experienced Mexico international Carlos Vela, and we predict that the former Arsenal man will pose a big threat to the opposition back-line. All Julian Gaines, Erik Duenas, and Eddie Segura are sidelined with injuries for the home team.
The Canadian outfit, on the other hand, made a slow start to the season, with the team collecting only one point in total from the first three league fixtures. Since Vancouver have been struggling at the back of late, anything but a routine home win would be a major surprise. Both Erik Godoy and Caio Alexandre miss out through injuries, but there are no suspended players in the away team.

Over the years Carlos Vela has established himself as one of best Mexican players. Vela was born in Cancun, Mexico, on March 1, 1989 and he played for Guadalajara before joining Arsenal youth school in 2005. The pacey left-footed winger played only 29 games for the Gunners in the Premier League before signing a deal with Real Sociedad.
Carlos Vela played for the likes of Celta Vigo, Salamanca, Osasuna and WBA on loan as well before joining the Basque outfit. Nowadays, the Mexican forward is a Los Angeles FC player and it has to be noted that he scored 14 goals in 29 appearances for the club in the 2018 MLS Season. He is naturally gifted player, quick, intelligent and with very good technique.
Carlos Vela did well to win two CONCACAF Gold Cups with Mexico national football team (2009, 2015) and he was named Real Sociedad player of the year in the 2011/2012 and the 2013/2014 seasons. His main position is right winger, but he is used as a second striker and a centre-forward as well.

Vancouver Whitecaps are yet another Canadian side that compete in Major League Soccer. Vancouver began play in the USA top flight in 2011 and one year later they became the first Canadian outfit to book their place in the MLS Cup play-offs. However, star-studded Los Angeles Galaxy proved to be a big catch for the Whitecaps in the knockout round. Vancouver, though, did remarkably well to win the Canadian Championship in 2015, with the team beating Montreal Impact in the title game.
In 2016 they made it to the final of the tournament as well, but Toronto FC eventually won the trophy.
