Vancouver Whitecaps
Montreal will look to build on back-to-back wins over Cincinnati and New York Red Bulls when they take on Vancouver Whitecaps in an all-Canadian clash. Montreal have been scoring goals for fun of late, and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. All Mathieu Choiniere, Tomas Giraldo, Samuel Piette, and Mason Toye are sidelined with injuries, while Bjorn Johnsen should be fit for the Canadian derby.
Vancouver, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-2 loss to Portland Timbers. Since Montreal are desperate to record their first home win of the process, we are tempted to put our money on Wilfried Nancy’s troops. As for the visiting side, both Erik Fernando Godoy and Caio Alexandre are likely to miss the game through injuries, while Jamaica international Javain Brown is widely expected to return to the starting XI.
Highlighted Player (Romell Quioto):
Romell Quioto is a pacey winger who plays for both Houston Dynamo and the Honduras national football team. Quioto was born in Balfate (Honduras) on August 9, 1991 and he played for Union Ajax during his youth career. The Honduras striker started his senior career at Vida and it has to be noted that he scored 20 goals in 77 appearances in the league for the club.
In 2012 he was sent on loan to Polish club Wisla Krakow, but he played no more than nine games for The White Star in Ekstraklasa. Romell Quioto then took a step forward in his career as he signed a contract with famous Honduras club Olimpia. After scoring 38 goals in 96 league fixtures for the capital club the 180-cm-tall attacker decided to taste MLS football.
Quioto moved to Houston Dynamo in December, 2016 and he has been playing for the Major League Soccer club ever since. Speaking of his international debut, Romell Quioto received his first call-up for Honduras on February 29, 2012 for a friendly game against Ecuador.

Vancouver Whitecaps are yet another Canadian side that compete in Major League Soccer. Vancouver began play in the USA top flight in 2011 and one year later they became the first Canadian outfit to book their place in the MLS Cup play-offs. However, star-studded Los Angeles Galaxy proved to be a big catch for the Whitecaps in the knockout round. Vancouver, though, did remarkably well to win the Canadian Championship in 2015, with the team beating Montreal Impact in the title game.
In 2016 they made it to the final of the tournament as well, but Toronto FC eventually won the trophy. The Whitecaps are owned by Greg Kerfoot, Steve Luczo, Jeff Mallett and Steve Steve Nash, the former NBA star, and they play their home matches at BC Place. Speaking of MLS games, the capacity of the venue is 22.120 and you should know that the stadium was opened back in 1983. The Caps wear white shirts and white shorts when playing at home, while the colour of their away kit is blue.
