New England Revolution take on Columbus Crew at Gillette Stadium on Monday in what is expected to be an interesting MLS clash. The Revs have been impressive at home ground at the start of the season, with the team eyeing their third consecutive home win. Even though Caicedo, Mafla, and Verfurth remain in the recovery room, home win should be considered as New England have been scoring goals for fun at their Gillette Stadium.
Columbus Crew, on the other hand, aim to bounce back from a 2-0 loss to Toronto. Caleb Porter’s men continue to struggle on the travels, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the Revs. It has to be noted that all Hairston, Kitchen, Molino, and Morris are out of contention with injuries for the visiting team.

Antonio Delamea Mlinar is a Slovenian footballer who plays for New England Revolution in MLS. Milnar was born in Celje, Slovenia on 10 June, 1991 and his main position is centre back. The New England Revolution defender played for the likes of Celje, Sampion, Aluminij and Interblock during his youth career and he signed his first professional contract with Interblock senior team.
Mlinar scored one goal in 23 league appearances for “the Gamblers” from 2008 to 2011 and in 2011 he joined Slovenian giants Olimpija Ljubljana. He played an important role in the capital club for seven years, but in 2017 he decided to take a step forward in his career.
Mlinar signed a deal with New England Revolution in January, 2017 and he has been playing for the Revs ever since. He made his debut for the Slovenia national team against Poland in November, 2016, replacing Miral Samardzic in the second half of the match.

Columbus Crew are an American soccer club based in Columbus, Ohio. The Black & Gold participate in the Eastern Conference and in 2008 they won both the conference and the MLS CUP final. Columbus Crew defeated New York Red Bulls in the MLS Cup final, with the likes of Moreno, Marshall and Hejduk scoring for the Black & Gold in the title game.
The club welcome their rivals at Mapfre Stadium, the venue which was opened on May, 15 1999. The current capacity of the stadium is 19.968 and it has to be noted that Mapfre Stadium is the first soccer-specific venue ever built for a MLS club.
A number of high-profile players were part of Columbus Crew in the past, but Guillermo Barros Schelotto is the most famous footballer that wore the black and yellow shirt. Schelotto played for Columbus Crew from 2007 to 2010 and during his spell with the Mapfre Stadium outfit the Black & Gold won the aforementioned MLS Cup.
