Our prediction for this MLS match:
All eyes will be on Yankee Stadium when New York City and New York Red Bulls face each other in the local derby on Sunday morning. New York City have been scoring goals for fun of late and seeing that they aim to melt Atlanta United’s advantage in the standings, we are positive that the hosts will go for a win in the Yankee Stadium showdown.
A man to watch in the home team will be Brazilian attacker Heber, who scored a brace in a 4-1 victory over Cincinnati at the weekend. New York Red Bulls, on the other hand, aim to retain their spot in top seven in the Western Conference, but seeing that New York City are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we do not believe that there is a big value in betting on the away team.
Highlighted Player (Alexandru Mitrita):

Italian Serie A is a Romanian footballer who is well known for his height. The 199-cm attacking midfielder, who is capable of playing as a winger as well, was born in Craiova on February 8, 1995 and he started his youth career at Turnu Severin.
In 2012 he moved to fellow Romanian club Viitorul Constanta and in 2015 he signed a deal with Italian side Pescara. After scoring 2 goals in 34 appearances for the Dolphins, he returned to Romania, signing a contract with Universitatea Craiova. Alexandru Mitrita was on New York City’s radar during the 2017/2018 season and seeing that he scored 18 goals in the national championship, the chiefs of the MLS club decided to sign him in 2019.
The Romanian footballer made his MLS soccer debut in a 2-2 draw with Orlando City, but he failed to find the net. Alexandru Mitrita’s preferred foot is right, but he often plays as a left winger.
Highlighted Team (New York Red Bulls):

New York Red Bulls is the first club from New York City to join Major League Soccer. In 2006 the club was sold to Red Bull GmbH and, as a result, they are nicknamed the Red Bulls. New York welcome their rivals at Red Bull Arena and the team’s home colors are white and red.
On the other hand, the Red Bulls wear dark blue shirts and yellow shorts on the road. In 2008 New York Red Bulls made it to the MLS Cup final, but they were not capable of matching Columbus Crew (1-3) in the Home Depot Center clash. A number of top-class footballers were part of the team in the past, but former Arsenal forward Thierry Henry is the synonym of the club.
Henry scored 51 goals in 122 league games for New York Red Bulls from 2010 to 2014 and it has to be noted that he scored his first MLS hat-trick in a 5-2 victory over Montreal Impact on March 31, 2012. The likes of Youri Djorkaeff, Lothar Matthaus, Roberto Donadoni, Rafael Marquez, Juninho and Tim Cahill played for the club in the past as well.
