Our prediction for this MLS match:
Thanks to back-to-back wins over the likes of Portland Timbers and Philadelphia Union, New York Red Bulls clinched their spot in the MLS play-offs, but they aim to overtake DC United in 4th position in the standings as well. The Metros have been impressive at the back of late and you should bear in mind that they are eyeing their third consecutive clean sheet in the Major League Soccer.
Experienced attacker Bradley Wright-Phillips is set to return to the starting XI and he surely wants to finish the regular season in style. The capital club, on the other hand, are eager to retain 4th place in the standings and given their fine form, we predict that Wayne Rooney and Co. are going to hold New York Red Bulls to a draw at Red Bull Arena.
