Twente
Ajax will look to put an end to their four-game winless run when they take on Twente in the Eredivisie round 16. The Amsterdammers just can’t find their best form, but Saturday’s clash could be the turning point for Alfred Schreuder’s troops. Brian Brobbey, who limped off with injury at the weekend, faces race against clock to be fit for the match, while goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli should make his Eredivisie debut against NEC.
All Steven Bergwijn, Mohammed Kudus, and Steven Berghuis are rated doubtful. The Reds, on the other hand, faced no difficulties in the Dutch Cup win over Telstar (3-1), but given their anything but good away record in the 2022/2023 Eredivisie campaign, we believe that the time has come for Ajax to return to winning ways. In their last meeting in Amsterdam Ajax crushed Twente 5-0. Both Wout Brama and Christos Tzolis made their returns from injuries in the midweek triumph.

Born in Apeldoorn, Netherlands on December 19, 1991, Steven Berghuis is a Dutch winger who plays for Ajax in the Eredivisie. Berghuis played for the likes of Vitesse/AGOVV, WSV Apeldoorn, and Go Ahead Eagles during his youth career before joining Twente in 2009.
The 183-cm-tall footballer continued playing for the Reds at senior level. After ending his loan spell with VVV-Venlo, Steven Berghuis joined AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2012, and three years later signed a deal with the Premier League club Watford. After making no more than nine appearances in the English top flight, Berghuis moved to Feyenoord in August 2016, and he has been playing De club aan de Maas ever since.
His main position is right winger, but he is capable of producing fine displays as both left winger and attacking midfielder as well. He made his Netherlands debut on May 27, 2016 in a 1-1 draw with the Republic of Ireland.

The Reds did remarkably well to win the Eredivisie title in the 2009/10 season, with the team finishing the process only one point clear of Dutch giants Ajax.
