Utrecht
Johan Cruijff Arena will host a postponed Ligue 1 clash between Ajax and Utrecht. The Amsterdammers are high on confidence following the triumph in the Dutch Cup final, but this game will be anything but a walk in the park for the league leaders. Cameroon shot-stopper Onana remains on the sidelines through suspension, while defender Blind is out of contention with an ankle injury. Boss Erik ten Hag could opt to make changes to the starting XI, with both Neres and Brobbey pushing for a start.
Utrecht, on the other hand, are eager to cement their spot in top eight, and seeing that they made life difficult for Ajax in a 5-4 loss in the KNVB Beker clash in December, 2020, we believe that punters can find value in betting on both teams to score. Anyhow, the reigning champions are closer to picking up all three points from the midweek clash than the visiting team.

Davy Klaassen is a product of Ajax’s youth academy. He played for the Amsterdammers at youth level from 2004 to 2012 and he made his debut for the senior team against Olympique Lyon in the Champions League group stages. Klaassen was born on 22 February, 1993 in Hilversum, Netherlands and he plays as an attacking midfielder.
He is capable of playing as a secondary striker as well and it has to be noted that the Dutch footballer scored 13 goals in 31 league appearances for Ajax in the 2015/2016 Eredivisie campaign. Klaassen has four caps for Netherlands U21 team and he made his debut for the first team on 5 March, 2014 in a friendly against France.
The Dutch midfielder scored his first goal for the national team against Spain on 31 March, 2015 and, no doubt, that was one of the brightest moments of his career. The Ajax footballer won his third Eredivisie trophy with the Amsterdammers in the 2013/2014 campaign.

Established on July 1, 1970, Utrecht is a Dutch club that competes in the Eredivisie. The club was founded as a merger of VV DOS, USV Elinkwijk, and Velox, and it has to be noted that VV DOS did well to win the Eredivisie trophy back in 1958.
Utrecht, on the other hand, have yet to win the national championship, but they have lifted three KNVB Cup trophies (1984/85, 2002/03, 2003/04). Leo van Veen is leading the club’s all-time goal-scoring chart with 153 goals. Speaking of the club’s colours, they were white and red shirts when playing at home, while blue is the dominant colour of their away jersey.
Due to the hooligan clashes, Utrecht have a rivalry with Dutch giants Ajax. The games between the two clubs have always been very tense on the field. Utrecht welcome their rivals at Stadion Galgenwaard, the venue which can hold up to 23,750 people. The stadium was opened back in May 1936.
