Vitesse
Following an unlucky draw with Almere City before the international break, Ajax will look to start a new winning run in Eredivisie when they take on Vitesse on Matchday 13. The Amsterdammers made a slow start to the season, but they have been showing signs of improvement in November and, as a result, the bookies see them as hot favourites to win Saturday’s clash. Even though both Brian Brobbey and Steven Bergwijn are out of contention, we are tempted to put our money on the hosts, who aim to keep their Champions League hopes alive.
The Vitas, on the other hand, are stuck at the bottom of the table with only eight points on their account and given their poor defensive performances in back-to-back defeats to Go Ahead Eagles (1-5) and Vitesse (1-3), home win should definitely be considered. To make things even worse for the visiting side, captain Marco van Ginkel misses the trip to Amsterdam through suspension.

Born in Apeldoorn, Netherlands on December 19, 1991, Steven Berghuis is a Dutch winger who plays for Ajax in the Eredivisie. Berghuis played for the likes of Vitesse/AGOVV, WSV Apeldoorn, and Go Ahead Eagles during his youth career before joining Twente in 2009.
The 183-cm-tall footballer continued playing for the Reds at senior level. After ending his loan spell with VVV-Venlo, Steven Berghuis joined AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2012, and three years later signed a deal with the Premier League club Watford. After making no more than nine appearances in the English top flight, Berghuis moved to Feyenoord in August 2016, and he has been playing De club aan de Maas ever since.
His main position is right winger, but he is capable of producing fine displays as both left winger and attacking midfielder as well. He made his Netherlands debut on May 27, 2016 in a 1-1 draw with the Republic of Ireland.

Nicknamed Vitas, the proud of Gelderland, Vitesse are a Dutch football club based in Arnhem. Vitesse compete in the Dutch Eredivisie and they have yet to win the national championship. However, they finished as runners-up in the Dutch elite division on five occasions (1897–98, 1902–03, 1912–13, 1913–14, 1914–15), while clinching third place in the standings in the 1997/1998 season.
Vitesse did remarkably well to win the 2016/2017 Dutch Cup title, with the team beating AZ Alkmaar in the final at De Kuip in Rotterdam. As a result, the Vitas booked their place in the Europa League group stages where they face the likes of Lazio, Nice and Zulte-Waregem.
Vitesse are well known for their yellow jerseys with black stripes, while the club’s away colour is black. GelreDome is the home ground of the Dutch team and the capacity of the venue is 21.248. It has to be noted that famous Spanish footballer Albert Ferrer was in charge of the club in the 2010/2011 season.
