All eyes will be on De Kuip when Feyenoord and PSV lock horns in the Eredivisie derby on Sunday morning. The Rotterdammers are low on confidence following a 3-1 Champions League loss to Atletico Madrid, but they are surely capable of matching PSV in front of home fans. The title holders outplayed Excelsior 4-2 in the local derby at the weekend and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play against the league leaders. Croatia midfielder Luka Ivanusec should be recalled to the starting XI, while both Bart Nieuwkoop and Alireza Jahanbakhsh remain on the sidelines with injuries.
The visitors, on the other hand, want to keep their 100% record in the 2023/2024 season intact, but seeing that Feyenoord are tough to beat at home, we are tempted to put our money on draw. Fit-again forward Noa Lang is pushing for a start, whereas all Bella-Kotchap, Mauro Junior, and Armando Obispo should miss out through injuries.

The 26-year-old Dutch striker Luuk de Jong is considered one of Europe’s deadliest strikers with his incredible return of goals in games he spends playing. Luuk de Jong began his football career at De Graafschap in 2008, but moved on to Twente only a year later.
The tally of 39 goals in 76 league appearances earned him a transfer to Borussia Monchengladbach, but his spell in Germany ended in disappointment. Bundesliga club attempted to revive his career by sending him out on loan to Newcastle United but his stint with the English club yielded even more disappointment and concluded in utter disaster with De Jong playing 12 games without scoring a single goal for the Magpies.
A return to Netherlands and PSV Eindhoven turned out to be a proper hit for the 26-year-old striker who has restored his scoring touch with more than 50 goals for the Boeren after less than 90 games.

Back in 1908 football club Wilhemina was founded in the pub De Vereeniging and they played their home games in blue-sleeved red shirts and white shorts. The club’s name was changed to Hillesluise in 1909 and soon they became RVV Celeritas.
